Malachai has been involved in the art world for many years, from his early days of hairdressing, to studying art and design at mid Warwickshire college, then venturing on to study fashion at Northampton university. 

 However his love for history, the natural world and all the curious animals within it, took him on a new journey, when he found himself completely enamoured by the world of needle felting. 

 This new technique helped him to combine what he had learned over the years and create truly tangible creatures and animals, with the personalities he has always been able to see within them, only now being able to introduce them to others to enjoy too.
